7 Great Programs to Choose From

• Regular Program

goalie hockey schools Recommended for beginner puck stoppers up to 9 years, or for those just beginning to play the position. This basic program covers all the fundamentals of goaltending and is a fantastic way to learn the basics and develop good habits.

Maximum of 12 goalies per half ice, Price ranges from $485-$515 depending on location - instructor student ratio 1/3

Volume #1 - 'Training Good Goalies' is a great review for this level. It will review all the basic movements, warm-ups, skills & exercises, good work ethics & positive mental attitude.

The Average Day:
1.5 Hours On-Ice Instruction (Morning)
1-Hour Off-Ice Conditioning Program
1-Hour Lunch Break
1.5 Hours On-Ice Instruction (Afternoon)
1-Hour Video & Lecture Series


• Intermediate Program

The program is suitable for goalies aged 9 & 10 or for those who are comfortable with the basic skills. This intermediate program is designed to take the goalie to the next step in their development. The program goes in depth into angles and positioning, new and modern movements and concepts.

Maximum of 12 goalies per half ice. Price ranges from $485-$515 depending on location - instructor student ratio 1/3

Volume # 3 - 'Where It's At' a recommened volume for the Intermediate level which has an in-depth look at angle's & positioning. Proper positioning is a goalie's strongest asset. This volume will review the strengths and weaknesses of different styles of positional play.

The Average Day:

1-Hour Of-Ice Conditioning
1-Hour Lunch Break

• Advanced Program

The Advanced Programs are designed for goaltenders playing at higher levels of competitive hockey. The program introduces goaltenders to new and modern techniques at a higher level, at a fast pace, and in more detail. This program is ideal for goaltenders who are playing at higher levels and are looking to continue improving their game.

Level 1: Suitable for goalies aged 11 & 12
Level 2: Suitable for goalies aged 13 & older

Maximum or 8 goalies per half ice, Price ranges from $695-$730 depending on location - instructor student ratio 1/2

Volume # 3 - 'Where It's At' a recommend volume for the Intermediate level which has an in-depth look at angle & positioning. Proper positioning is a goalies strongest asset. This volume will review the strengths and weaknesses of different styles of positional play.

Volume # 5 - 'Aggressive Goaltending' a recommended volume for the Advanced level. It will take a look at some interesting concepts, strategies and drills that are sure to help any goaltender understand the value of aggressive movement in the net. It cover when and how to be more aggressive with the puck.

• Special Elite

These programs are intense and have been developed for goaltenders who play at high levels and are serious about their game. This highly intense program will give goaltenders professional level drills and instruction, intensive analysis of skills and techniques, along with the ability to adapt and customize to the styles of each and every goaltender. These programs are for goaltenders already performing at a high level and are looking to move up the ladder.

Jr. Special Elite: for advanced goalies aged 12-14
Senior Special Elite: suitable for goalies over the age of 15

The entire Gold in the Net DVD library will be utilized throughout this program.

The Average Day:

• Private Camp

Open to all ages. The private program gives the goaltender the best opportunity to work with a Gold in the Net top instructor 1 on 1. The instructor will customize the drills and off-ice activity for each goaltender as they see fit. This program gives the goaltender a complete break-down of their style and techniques. The program is ideal for any level of goaltender who is seeking the best professional instruction there is to offer in the industry in a 1 on 1 environment.

• Dryland Training

Gold in the Net's unique Dryland program has been designed around new and innovative products and ideas that enhance the students overall performance on the ice. The use of slide boards, balance boards, reaction belts, along with specialized training mats all combined to help the goalie create Explosive Power and Speed.

The program creates fun and excitement for the student while promoting hard work ethics.
